Luke's fork of the suckless simple terminal (st) with vim bindings and Xresource compatibility.
ee7fd748ac
Tabs stop are simulated in st using a fixed size of 8, always, without be worried about sequences changing the tab stops. A user can put a tab stop in each horizontal position of the screen, so we need at least one flag for each column of the screen. In the same way as dirty flags is used for the rows, it is used a bool dinamic array. Signed-off-by: Roberto E. st - simple terminal -------------------- st is a simple virtual terminal emulator for X which sucks less. Requirements ------------ In order to build st you need the Xlib header files. Installation ------------ Edit config.mk to match your local setup (st is installed into the /usr/local namespace by default). Afterwards enter the following command to build and install st (if necessary as root): make clean install Running st ---------- If you don't install st, define TNAME to "xterm" in config.h or make sure to at least compile st terminfo entry with the following command: tic -s st.info It should print the path of the compiled terminfo entry. You can safely remove it if you don't plan to use st anymore. See the man page for additional details. Credits ------- Based on Aurélien APTEL <aurelien dot aptel at gmail dot com> bt source code.
