## Primitves ## Primitves
I've been adding the seperately listed primitives as well, although that has some issues connected with it: Some/most of the primitives listed seperately do not have a unicode character associated with them. Thus I've been using two strategies: I'm mapping primitives which cannot be found in the Unicode standard to a section of the Ethiopian Alphabet.
My custom fonts then display these primitives instead of the ethiopian letters.
1. Choosing a simple kanji which uses this primitive and stating with part of this kanji is meant This means that the symbol displayed in Browse mode is incorrect for primitives.
2. Misusing another unicode character which looks pretty much the same. For example for "Besen" as used in "雪" uses the charakter "ヨ" ("yo" from Katakana).
Both of these strategies are not optimal and I'm currently looking into other options. Inserting pictures does not seem optimal to me as well since those are heavily font-dependent. Reccommendations on how to solve this issue are always welcome.
Update: I've considered to modify the used IPAGothic font to add these Primitives in unused locations.
This means that the Kanji displayed in Browse mode is incorrect for primitives but there will be no need for a "Kanji Correction field anymore".
This plan will be implemented in the coming weeks.

This is mostly done to add support for Heisig's primitives-system.
Otherwise sometimes a Kanji might slightly differ from the original font to more accurately reflect the idea in the Merkhilfe.
